This fact sheet contains information on the collection, sorting and recycling of this packaging type, as well as which sustainability aspects are involved. It also explains why beverage cartons have the qualification 'reasonably recyclable' according to the KIDV and what the most recent developments are.
The contents of this fact sheet were approved by the KIDV's Board of Independent Experts and coordinated with Hedra, the Dutch industry association of beverage carton suppliers. If the development of new sorting and recycling techniques, new materials or new policies affect the fact sheet, its contents will be updated accordingly.
